Chima Raymond Ukwa
Chima Raymond Ukwa is a leading Sustainable Development Advocate working on eliminating harmful traditional practices and violence against women and girls.
At 19 years, he spearheaded the plans for the first African Youth Conference on MDGs with a special focus on Africa’s Women’s Economic Growth and active participation in the post-2015 Agenda now called the SDGs.
He has served in several leadership capacities locally and internationally. In 2016, he was appointed the Girl Generation Country Ambassador in a position he joined other global leaders who formulated the United States EndFGM Network, in Washington D.C, United States. He also led the Wallace Global Fund’s Turn up The Volume program to develop Strategic Youth Engagement in EndFGM advocacy launched in Nairobi, Kenya.
